Hard to believe, but she is 8 Months!

On Christmas Eve, Mia turned 8 months. As we say with every new month it is hard to believe how fast she is growing up but I think this past month has been one with the most change. The most exciting of all is that she started CRAWLING! We knew it would happen anyday because she had everything down pat except moving her knees forward. A week before her 8 month birthday, she figured it out...she started with just a few movements and today is going from one room to another. A few days after she learned to crawl she discovered she could pull herself up on anything and everything. Jim also caught her moving her legs trying to reach something on the coffee table. We might have an early walker on our hands!
This past month she has also learned to wave hello and/or bye bye, she knows exactly who her daddy is and makes it known by saying it over and over again. !
She is so much more aware of everything around her. She loves playing peek-a-boo, in fact she now puts something over her face and then drops it so we say where is Mia..there she is! She smiles constantly and keeps us very busy but we love every minute of it. God's perfect gifts definitely come from above!
