Last Saturday our church had a community service day! We went around to different places in Oxford to help in any way possible. It was a great day of serving others and building relationships with all the members of our church. Members were at the Salvation army painting, moving items and organizing while others were at the food pantry stocking shelves. We also joined another group at the Family Crisis center to help clean and organize the office. It was important to us that Mia was a part of this special day. She did a great job of stacking cans with Pastor Pat and Daddy. She also helped organize toys at the Crisis Center.
Serving others is a gift and it is one way we can give back to our precious Lord for all He has richly blessed us with. "As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15).
