Happy 1/2 Birthday to Mia...Happy 1/2 Birthday to Mia...Can it really be true? Our little girl is 6 months old. If we blink it might be time for college!
Mia is such a JOY to be around! In the past month she has really changed a lot. She was losing hair, but in the past few days we have noticed it coming back. She knows how to pick up her paci and put it in her mouth all by herself. We have heard her say Da, Da, Da, and Ma, Ma, Ma a few times. When she is tired, she rubs her eyes which I just think is the cutest thing ever. She has not started crawling, but is definitely trying. She is not a big fan of being on her belly though, so just usually gets frustrated and rolls back over. She laughs and smiles ALL THE TIME! Jim and I just find ourselves staring at her and giggling along with her. Jersey and her are still the best of friends. I think they really missed each other while we were in Florida.
We don't head to the doctor again until Thursday so after her appointment I will be sure to update everyone on her stats. To celebrate tonight, we went to dinner with the Ritchies and then stopped by Holli's Sweet Tooth on the Square. It was probably torture taking her there and not letting her try any candy but we think she enjoyed seeing other kids in there as well as all the different colors of candy.
Tomorrow we plan to start some REAL FOOD as everyone in our family has been encouraging us to do. Here are some pictures from tonight as well as extras over the past month. Enjoy!
