Happy 2nd Birthday Jersey! Today is our precious little dogs 2nd birthday, I think that makes him 14 in human years. If you have not had the chance to meet him, then we must arrange something soon. I never had pets growing up, and Jim always had dogs so once we were settled in Chicago, we started talking about getting a dog. I knew it was going to have to be small since this was all new to me. We found Jersey and I am very attached! Love him to pieces! He is so playful, always cheerful, he loves belly rubs and playing catch. He always makes you laugh, and loves to snuggle!
On his special day today, we are going to go to the Park to play ball and I am taking him to the Pet store to let him pick out a new toy and a dog biscuit. The neighborhood security man already gave him a biscuit this morning on our walk, as did the Coffee Shop crew when we went with Grammie to get her morning coffee..they even put whip cream on the biscuit!
Today is Jim's last day with Huron, he flew out this morning to Chicago to have his exit interview and to return his laptop and blackberry. We know this will be a wonderful new journey for us together, but it will still be hard for him because he has loved Huron and has been with them for 2.5 years. Keep him in your prayers today!

i found your blog through amy's! so excited for y'all to move to MS - and oxford at that! even though i am a bulldog, i married into a rebel family - chad's parents have a townhouse in oxford- we will definitely have to get together when we are in town!
