Florida Fun!

After Thankgiving, Mia and I had the opportunity to fly down to Florida with my parents and poor Daddy had to drive back home alone to go to work. We are so thankful for all Daddy does for us. We love you. Mia greatly enjoyed her flight probably because Nana and Papa had free upgrades so we all set in Business Class. Mia managed to get her own seat and Papa decked her out with headphones and an Elmo movie. I was so happy that she did so well but it set a very high tone for our flight back home when we were going to be by ourselves! Thankfully, she was a doll then as well and enjoyed talking to everyone seated near us.
The reason for our trip to Florida was two of my girlfriends were coming to visit. Both were in our couples small group when we lived in Chicago and we miss them all so much. Meredith now lives in Michigan and Rachel is still in Chicago. My parents kept Mia the entire weekend so we could really enjoy a GIRLS WEEKEND! It was MUCH NEEDED and oh so much fun! We did not seem to let the fact that it poured down rain every day that they were there bother us. We shopped, ate and laughed the entire time. Rachel and I are both pregant and Meredith has a new precious little guy, Stratton who is 3 months and he joined us girls for the weekend. He was perfect and enjoyed the girl talk as well! I LOVED MEETING HIM and so did Mia. Unfortunately, we have NO PICTURES to show for our great weekend! Except Mia kisses her new buddy.
Mia throughly enjoyed her time at Nana and Papa's. She now loves Chicken Strips from McDonalds and has mastered jumping on the bed! She is obessed with carrying around her purse and loves putting on jewelry. Unfortunatley, my closet does not compare to Nana's. She has all the fun stuff. She even had her first try at hair rollers. Nana and Papa think of everything to entertain their grandkids and I love it. Thanks again for keeping Mia she still asks everyday where you guys are at...hopefully New Years will get here fast!
Mia loving her Papa!Mommy and Mia enjoying the Shops at Waterside!
