7 Months and Nana's Birthday!

Last week was a special week even before we celebrated Thanksgiving. On Monday, Mia turned 7 months old and her Nana had a very special Birthday. We wish so much we could have been in Naples to celebrate with her! Looks like we will have to celebrate again when we are all together for Christmas. Happy Birthday Nana!

Mia is changing everyday! She is not officially crawling yet, but manages to get wherever she wants whenever she wants. She will roll, sit up, slide you name it but no crawling. She does a great job of getting into the crawl position but gets frustrated and lays down. Sooner than later she will get the hang of it. She is very good at standing up though..she tries this all the time and usually gets it. We had to lower her crib mattress because I found her looking over the railing the other day (she was on her knees but it still scared me). Her two teeth are as cute as can be...she bites down on the spoon and does not want to let go- Silly Girl! She now says Da,Da,Da,Da, Ma, Ma, Ma and her newest is Ba,Ba,Ba. She has discovered mirrors and enjoys playing with my necklaces. Her new instrument is a door stopper- she touched it the other day and realized it makes a funny sound..this can entertain her for at least 10 minutes- long enough for mommy to get half of her hair dried. Ha.
She continues to bring so much energy, warmth and laughter into our home. Here are a few extra pictures from this past month that I have not already posted.
