Traveling + Wedding = FUN

We are back! Our traveling began the week before last with a last minute trip to Bloomington, my hometown. Mia and I drove to Jackson and hopped a plane by ourselves- Daddy was there at take off to make sure we were all settled and then Papa was waiting once we arrived. Mommy was a nervous wreck but Mia did great! She pretty much slept the entire time! While in Bloomington, Mia got the chance to finally meet all her cousins from my side of the family, as well as some Aunts, Great Aunts and many other family friends. It was wonderful having all her cousins around to hold her and play with her. My youngest nephew Lody, enjoyed yelling Baby Baby when he was around her..all he wanted to do was hold her, it was really precious. Nana and Papa had a great time catching up with Mia as well, unfortunately my camera battery was dead the entire weekend so I did not get as many pictures as I would have liked. It was great seeing everyone however we missed Daddy A LOT! We flew back into Memphis and daddy was there waiting for his girls! It was so good to see him.
After a busy trip to Bloomington, we were home for just a day before we headed to Jackson for Jim's sisters wedding. Stacey and Robert are hitched! YEAH! We had a wonderful time with all the family. The rehearsal dinner was a blast and the wedding was beautiful. We are thrilled to have Robert in the family. They are so cute together...a match that only the Lord could have brought together.
Mia is changing so much...tomorrow she will be 11 weeks! She has big blue eyes that she bats at you, which makes us melt. She is cooing nonstop- she gets a very serious look on her face and then starts cooing like she is trying to tell us something. I will try to catch it on video to show you all soon. She can hold her head up really well, sits up against pillows and loves BOOKS! We give thanks and praise daily for such a special little girl! The album is a combination of photos from both trips..I wish so much I would have taken more pictures..but at least we have some to document our trips.
