Introducing Mia Grace Morrison

As many of you know, Mitzi was scheduled to be induced at 6:00a.m. this morning but apparently the Lord was planning to bring Mia to us today anyways. Mitzi woke up around 3am with contractions. We went to the hospital for our scheduled appointment but Mitzi was already having significant contractions that were about 3 1/2 minutes a part. Mitzi did incredible throughout the day. She was so strong and upbeat through it all. After several long hours of determination in the late afternoon, Mia Grace was born at 5:43pm. She is just adorable. She is 7 lbs 7 ounces and 20 in. long. She has some cute chubby cheeks, squinty eyes like dad, and has long curly dark hair. She actually has blue eyes but we know that may change. This entire day has just been such an amazing experience. We feel so blessed to have a healthy baby and a mom who will recover quickly after some rest.
