Easter was celebrated at home this year! Jim had to travel for school and was not going to be getting back until late Saturday evening so we decided to do our own little family thing. We had such a great day and the weather was beautiful. We attended our church which was great to be apart of on such an incredible day and then we went for nice little brunch. The rest of the day was spent as a family enjoying the great weather and also doing more work to prepare for Tyler.

Mia attended a total of 4 Easter Egg Hunts. This girl is a pro easter egg hunter! Each school had one, she went to one at the library with Grammie and then also was apart of the one our church has every year.

Needless to say, our home was covered in eggs and candy...good thing we were able to reuse them for each additonal hunt we attended! Mia was not fond of the bunny this year. Where we ate brunch the bunny stopped by and Mia grabbed Daddy very quickly. She loved waving to the bunny and talking about him but if he took a step closer in our direction she kept saying "No"!

It was a wonderful day to celebrate, reflect and remember what Easter is all about!Jesus is RISEN, is what Mia learned at school! Our service was moving and the time we spent as a family was very special, little did we know Tyler would be arriving just a few days later.
